Water Heaters

We install tried & tested water heaters from quality manufacturers. Our go to is Bradford White, but we do install other brands too. Residential water heaters are usually 40 - 50 US gallons and commercial water heaters are larger.

Storage Tank Water Heaters

 These are the most common type of water heaters. They consist of a large tank that stores and heats water. The heated water is then available for use throughout the building. They are available in various sizes and can typically fueled by electricity, natural gas.

We recommend an annual flush of these units or simply draining a few liters from the bottom.

Another maintenance task is changing anode rods every 3 - 5 years to prevent corrosion inside the tank.

Tankless Water Heaters

These are also known as on-demand water heaters, these units heat water directly without the need for a storage tank. Tankless water heaters are energy-efficient as they only heat water when needed. They are great to save space and are up to 98% efficient!

We recommend descaling and servicing every 1 to 2 years.

Indirect Water Heaters

These water heaters are usually piped to a boiler and are used to store hot water. There is a heat exchanger inside these units that allows them to heat the hot separate from the boiler water. Many of these water heaters are made out of stainless steel, so can last longer than other water heaters.

We still recommend an annual flush to clear out debris.
